SMTP authentication for Netscape Communicator 4.7 on Microsoft Windows

Netscape Communicator 4.7 for Windows requires the following changes to be made in order for you to use SMTP authentication:

1. Start Netscape Communicator, go under the Edit menu, select Preferences.
2. Select Mail Servers which is under Mail & Newsgroups in the category list on the left.
3. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to: REMOTESMTP.WYITH.NET:5190
4. Ensure that Outgoing mail server user name is set to your SMTP username.
5. Under Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages select NO.
6. Click OK
